Análisis económico – financiero de la compañía minera Minereicis. S.A.

Abstract

Mining within Ecuador is constituted as one of the most productive sources of the sector in the country, therefore this sector is involved within the productive matrix, where the state entities have seen in it a need to apply stronger regulations and take advantage of the turn of this business to add value to the development of the country; Due to this, new laws and tax reforms have been implemented that affect or benefit certain companies in the indicated sector. Therefore, the present work is based on the application of economic - financial ratios togenerate an analysis of the mining company Minereicis SA, whose date of incorporation dates from 2011, the same that around the scope of its commercial turn has as an activity economic and corporate purpose according to the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance "perform mining work, in the phases of prospecting, exploration, exploitation benefits, smelting, refining and closing of mines, both in metallic and nonmetallic minerals." That is why, this work is based on the framing of the theories and concepts of how to perform an efficient economic - financial analysis, with the explanation of each of the ratios applied and their analysis based on the company’s financial statements. Denoting that current policies despite the management made by senior management, is complicating the economic health of mining companies, not achieving these generate returns in the last periods that would be expected from this sector.
