| Resumen : | Introduction: Palatal rugas are an individualized morphological trait in each living or dead individual; his study being able to identify people evaluating their shape and position especially in cases of carbonized bodies and that the most common methods of identification are not possible. Objective: The purpose of this research is to identify the individualizing characteristics of the palatal rugas in the rented equipment of the Fire Department of Samborondón Semester A - 2019. Materials and Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, with a universe of 44 people of the rented equipment of the Fire Department of Samborondón. The shape of the palate and the rugas, the prominences and the pattern of the palatal rugas, and the type of roughness by means of the rugoscopy were analyzed. The results obtained will be analyzed through statistical data. Results: The sample consisted of 44 firefighters from Samborondón; The male gender predominated. The shape of the palate was analyzed: arciform (63.64%), triangular (34%); rectangular (2.27%). The prominence of palatal wrinkles: high (70%); intermediate (25%), and flat (5%). The roughness pattern: convex (61%), concave (39%); Arachiform did not appear. The shape of palatal wrinkles: II (50%), I and IV (23%), and III (5%). The types of simple, straight palatine roughness (30.14%), curve (11.58%), angled (4.39%), Wavy (35.13%), Knitted (18.76%), are not found presence of circular type in the simple and compound sample: Straight Curve and Circulate Sinuous Straight (RC-CSR) 38%, Straight Separated Curve and Straight Circular (RCS-CR) 13%; No Curve Point Curve was presented within the curve. Conclusion: The rugoscopy method is a reliable and accessible method for the documentation of pre-mortem data, useful for various legal, forensic and human identification purposes |
| Descripción : | Introducción: Las rugas palatinas son un rasgo morfológico individualizado en cada individuo vivo o muerto; siendo su estudio capaz de identificar personas evaluando su forma y posición en especial en casos de cuerpos carbonizados y que los métodos más comunes de identificación no sean posible. Objetivo: El propósito de esta investigación es identificar las características individualizantes de las rugas palatinas en el equipo rentado del cuerpo de Bomberos de Samborondón Semestre A – 2019. Materiales y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, con un universo de 50 personas del equipo rentado del Cuerpo de bomberos de Samborondón. Se analizó la forma del paladar y las rugas, las prominencias y el patrón de las rugas palatinas, y el tipo de rugosidades mediante la rugoscopía. Los resultados obtenidos serán analizados mediante datos estadísticos. Resultados: La muestra se conformó de 44 bomberos de Samborondón; predomino el género masculino. Se analizó la forma del paladar: arciforme (63,64%), triangular (34%); rectangular (2,27%). La prominencia de las rugas palatinas: elevadas (70%); intermedias (25%), y planas (5%). El patrón de rugosidades: convexas (61%), cóncava (39%); no se presentó aracniforme. La forma de las rugas palatinas: II (50%), I y IV (23%), y III (5%). Los tipos de rugosidades palatinas simples, rectas (30,14%), curva (11,58%), anguladas (4,39%), Onduladas (35,13%), De Punto (18,76%), no se encontró presencia de tipo circular en la muestra simple y compuesto: Recta Curva y Circular Sinuosa Recta (RC-CSR) 38%, Recta Curva Separada y Circular Recta (RCS-CR) 13%; no se presentó Curva Curva Punto dentro de la curva. Conclusión: El método de rugoscopia es un método fiable y accesible para la documentación de datos pre-mortem, útiles para diversos fines legales, forenses y de identificación humana. |
