| Resumen : | NTRODUCTION: Dental veneers are one of the most popular treatments for the restoration of nonaesthetic anterior teeth. It is generally used to close diastema, restoring morphological and structural defects, and improving the appearance of slightly discolored teeth. This treatment has many advantages such as an excellent biocompatibility, natural appearance and an excellent clinical success rate. The test pastes simulate the color of the resin or cement. Resin cements are adhesive of choice for veneers. These, like their test pastes, come in several shades, give the possibility of selecting a shade to give the final value of the restoration. They must be able to absorb the compression forces and reduce the loads on the veneer, in order to achieve stability, longevity, harmony and a satisfactory clinical result. OBJECTIVE: This study aims to evaluate the value between resinous cements and their try in pastes in ceramic veneers. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Observational cross-sectional descriptive study, in which 23 patients were evaluated, with a total of 52 ceramic veneers on anterior teeth, at the UCSG clinic semester A-2019, intraoral photographs were taken to assess the value using resin cements with their respective try in pastes, using the Adobe Camera Raw program that comes with Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. RESULTS: Regarding the incidence of gender, it was 65% female, and 35% male. Regarding the tonality of the resin curing cements with the All Cem FGM and Variolink N brands from Ivoclar Vivadent, 50% translucent, 23% A2, and 8% light and 27% warm. As for the luminosity of the veneers evaluated, the luminosity of the veneers already cemented with resinous cement of curing obtained a value of 63.08; which was found in a neutral value. As for the value relationship between the cement of the resinous cements and their test pastes, the FGM All Cem translucent resinous cement, the luminosity value obtained was 64.88. With its try in increases to a value of 65.85. With resin cement with AllCem A2 shade of FGM, the brightness value was 62.25. With its test paste, it increases to a value of 63.75. With the resinous cement with a light hue, from Variolink N from Ivoclar Vivadent, the brightness value was 56.25; With its test paste, it increases to a value of 60.75. The resin cement with warm hue, from Variolink N from Ivoclar Vivadent, the luminosity value obtained was 61, with test paste increases to a value of 62.21. In 31 cemented veneers the value of the resin resin already cured was lower than the test paste, in 17 veneers the value of the resinous cement was greater than the test paste and in 4 veneers the value of the resin cement and its test paste is the same. CONCLUSION: There is a difference in the brightness value between the test paste and its resin curing cement. This difference in value is minimal, which does not produce clinically significant changes in the final restoration. Pastes are a reliable method, which simulates the color of the resin or cement with which it will be cemented, and thus better stability, longevity, and harmony can be obtained. |
| Descripción : | Introducción: Las carillas dentales son uno de los tratamientos más populares para la restauración de dientes anteriores no estéticos. Generalmente se lo utiliza para cerrar diastemas, restaurar defectos morfológicos y estructurales y mejorar la apariencia de dientes ligeramente descoloridos. tienen muchas ventajas, como excelente biocompatibilidad, apariencia natural y una tasa de éxito clínico confiable. Las pastas prueba simulan el color de la resina o cemento con el cual se realizó la cementación final de la carilla. Los cementos resinosos son el adhesivo de elección para las carillas, estos al igual que sus pastas prueba vienen en varios tonos, dan la posibilidad de seleccionar un tono para dar el valor final de la restauración. deben ser capaces de absorber las fuerzas de compresión y reducir las cargas sobre la carilla, para poder lograr estabilidad, longevidad, armonía y un resultado clínico satisfactorio OBJETIVO: Este estudio tiene como propósito evaluar el valor entre los cementos resinosos y sus pastas de prueba en carillas cerámicas. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Estudio descriptivo transversal observacional, en el cual se evaluaron 23 pacientes con un total de 52 carillas cerámica realizadas en dientes anteriores, en la Clinica UCSG semestre A-2019, a los cuales se les realizaron fotografías intraorales para evaluar el valor utilizando cementos resinosos con sus respectivas pasas prueba mediante el programa Adobe Camera Raw que viene con Photoshop y Photoshop Elements. RESULTADOS: En cuanto a la incidencia de género fue un 65% femenino, y 35% masculino. En cuanto a la tonalidad de los cementos resinosos de fotocurado con las marcas All Cem FGM y Variolink N de Ivoclar Vivadent, se utilizaron 50% traslúcido, un 23% A2, y un 8% light y un 27% warm. En cuanto a la luminosidad de las carillas evaluadas, la luminosidad de las carillas ya cementadas con cemento resinoso de fotocurado obtuvo un valor de 63,08; el cual se halló en un valor neutro. En cuanto la relación del valor entre la tonalidad cemento de los cementos resinosos y sus pastas prueba, el cemento resinoso traslúcido de All Cem de FGM, el valor de luminosidad obtenida fue de 64,88. Con su pasta prueba aumenta a un valor de 65,85. Con el cemento resinoso con tonalidad A2 de AllCem de FGM, el valor de luminosidad fue de 62,25. Con su pasta prueba, aumenta a un valor de 63,75. Con el cemento resinoso con tonalidad light, de Variolink N de Ivoclar Vivadent, el valor de luminosidad fue de 56,25; con su pasta prueba, aumenta a un valor de 60,75. El cemento resinoso con tonalidad warm, de Variolink N de Ivoclar Vivadent, el valor de luminosidad obtenida fue de 61, con pasta prueba aumenta a un valor de 62,21. En 31 carillas cementadas el valor del cemento resinoso ya fotocurado fue menor que la pasta prueba, en 17 carillas el valor del cemento resinoso fue mayor que la pasta prueba y en 4 carillas el valor del cemento resinoso y su pasta prueba es igual. CONCLUSIÓN: Si existe una diferencia de valor de la luminosidad entre la pasta prueba y su cemento resinoso de fotocurado. Esta diferencia de valor es mínima, lo cual no produce clínicamente cambios significativos en la restauración final. Las pastas son un método confiable, las cuales simulan el color de la resina o cemento con el que se cementará, y así se puede obtener mejor estabilidad, longevidad, y armonía. |
