Plan de desarrollo turístico del cantón Nobol, provincia del Guayas.

Abstract

Nobol is a town in the province of Guayas full of traditions and cultures, which goes a little unnoticed in the local tourist offer. One of its most important attractions is the religious tourism that professes legends and real stories that made known the life of the Holy Narcissus of Jesus Martillo Morán, parishioners arrive daily at the Sanctuary where the incorrupt body of the Saint rests, which attracts thousands of national and international tourists to the town which activates the commerce that is in development. To study the influence of tourism on the socio-economic conditions of people who are engaged in activities related to the tourism sector such as religious, gastronomic and cultural tourism, the survey was used, as a methodological tool for obtaining information whose results. They show that tourism in the Nobol town is a source of economic income for the population dedicated to this activity. These businesses have a high dependence on tourism, it is also evidenced that they have flaws in their infrastructure, which in turn is a problem when providing their services to tourists. Nobol has a very obvious potential based on the products it offers to national and international tourists who visit daily, taking into account that the strongest economic income is thanks to tourism. The reality is different in terms of the quality of the services offered in the Nobol town, it can be noted that they are very low so it directly affects tourism, restaurants that offer typical dishes of the area do not have the necessary hygiene measures required by tourists. The present work is based on a field observation to determine the diagnosis of cultural, religious and gastronomic attractions. The empirical research methodology based on observation was applied, with a mixed approach to interpret the results. Then, exposing the methodological framework proposes a tourism development plan for the cultural offer of the town, based on the PLANDETUR methodology.
