Abstract

In recent decades, small and medium enterprises have contributed significantly to the growth of the country, throughout their trajectory they have evolved in their different segments, not only generating jobs but also expanding and reaching new or different market segments. In Ecuador, most of the companies that are dedicated to the maintenance and repair of containers, are directly linked with deposits, they impose their prices on the services offered. Currently, this market is under-exploited, since it is monopolized by deposits who have their own suppliers to carry out this type of operations and the cost for training personnel and obtaining machinery are expensive, which makes it impossible for small entrepreneurs to undertake their business, in addition to The number of requirements requested by financial institutions to grant sources of financing generates another type of problem in order to access this market. The project was carried out under the descriptive and explanatory investigation, using an interview with the manager of the company Ocean Container, and conducting a market study to different financial institutions to obtain information, as well as requesting information through web pages, and books such as Secondary information sources. In this way, it was concluded that through a guide with different financing proposals for the Ocean Container company in order to analyze the different options such as the analysis of interest rates offered in the market, the requirements they request and amounts and benefits applicable to the SME sector.
