Implementación de una página web para el envío de notificaciones a los representantes de los alumnos de la escuela de educación básica particular Universidad Católica a través de SMS en caso de emergencias ocurridas de cualquier tipo o eventos próximos a ocurrir en el plantel educativo.

Abstract

Currently there is a lack of some effective communication method for the particular basic education school Universidad Católica, there are difficulties when try to sending notifications to the parents of the students in a group or selective way without the use of the internet because no all parents have an internet plan at all times, but they do have an active cell phone line. The institution does not count with a technological tool that allows parents to be notified in a group or selective way, in addition to the fact that some parents often forget the communications they send with their children. Given the needs that have been raised, an alternative computer solution was sought through the development of a web system that allows parents to be notified via SMS, either individually, to a specific group or to all parents who have their children studying on campus. As result, it was possible to maintain communication between the institution and the students’ parents, having them informed about events in the institution or notifying them of any type of situation that includes their participation.
