| Abstract: | The coastal polytechnic high school - ESPOL is a public institution with 60 years of operation. That has achieved high international standards, and that is in great demand by students, both national and foreign. In addition, it maintains in its teaching staff itinerant international staff. Due to this constant and growing presence, it is proposed to design the project "University residence for students and teachers Espol" which will be located within the ZEDE zone, in the northeast sector of the Gustavo Galindo university campus, in an irregular topography sector, facing the artificial lake of the knowledge park – PARCON. The project must meet the requirements of residential, recreational, study and total accessibility for 180 residents with all the complementary services to provide a comfortable and multifunctional space. |
| Description: | La escuela superior politécnica del litoral – ESPOL, es una institución universitaria pública con 60 años de funcionamiento, que ha logrado altos estándares internacionales, y que tiene gran demanda por estudiantes nacionales como extranjeros, manteniendo, además, en su planta docente personal internacional itinerante. Debido a esta constante y creciente presencia, se plantea diseñar un anteproyecto de “Residencia universitaria para estudiantes y docentes Espol” que estará ubicado dentro de la zona ZEDE, en el sector noreste del campus universitario Gustavo Galindo, en un sector de topografía irregular frente al lago artificial del parque del conocimiento – PARCON. El proyecto deberá satisfacer los requerimientos residenciales, lúdicos, recreativos, de estudio y de accesibilidad total para 180 residentes, con todos los servicios complementarios que brinden un espacio polifuncional y confortable. |
