Estudio de la factibilidad para la creación de centro de remanufactura y venta de artículos electrónicos en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The purpose of the following project is to determine if the implementation of a remanufacturing center for electronic items in the city of Guayaquil is feasible both at the business, technological and financial levels. To determine the feasibility of the project in these areas, surveys were conducted to determine the consumption habits of the population of the city and determine if they would be willing to buy remanufactured equipment, what price they would be willing to pay for them, as well as the characteristics of the devices that they have at this time to determine if the restored devices present an improvement with respect to those that they have at the moment since it is considering remanufacturing cell phones and high-end laptops. The data thrown by the project show that there are no remanufacturing centers for these devices in the city, so there is an opportunity to enter this market segment. Also, in the technical aspect it is feasible since in the country there is a skilled workforce for the remanufacturing process and the necessary implements for staging are easily acquired. In the financial field, the project is attractive and the investment required for it is low and has an acceptable level of profitability.
