Abstract

This paper explains the analysis of a case from the psychoanalytic perspective; This perspective has been considered because it deals with very simple issues but at the same time they are immensely complex, among them we could mention love-hate, desire-law, suffering-pleasure. While it is true they are simple, but they are also eternally current. The case deals with a woman close to forty who has taken care of the pains of others, who since her childhood took a position to take in her the painful situations of those around her, first it was her mother and sister; and the cycle continued until she became an adult, because she not only carried those of those two women who marked her childhood, but then did so even with the events surrounding her husband and brother. You could say that she enjoys being the one who bears the pains of others, as if that would give her a meaning, as if she needed to bear the pains of others to have an approval and feel then that she has a purpose in life . For that relationship he has with the other, for that search through the other to be that would deposit the pain and sadness; we could think then that we are facing a neurosis, of the hysterical modality; a woman who needs the Other to feel "alive"; a woman who seeks in the other to be accepted under the price of enduring their hardships
