Repercusiones Adversas de la Hipotermia no Intencional Inducida por Anestesia en el resultado perioperatorio, Hospital "Luis Vernaza". Periodo 2009-2010

Abstract

The temperature reading is an activity practiced by some anesthesiologists, this despite the presence of hypothermia has been associated with a number of complications. In the hospital, "Luis Vernaza" performed thousands of surgeries and which had not been established with the repercussions of the presence of this alteration, and with what frequency. Objective: To determine the impact of unintended hypothermia induced by general anesthesia on perioperatori outcome of patients attended the hospital "Luis Vernaza" during the period 2009-2010. Methodology: An observational case-control study which included a non-probabilistic 9 patients who developed hypothermia and 34 patients who did not, and later with the postoperative results.
