Repercusiones del acogimiento institucional indefinido de niños, niñas y adolescentes en las Instituciones Públicas del Ecuador.

Abstract

The Ecuadorian State, being considered as the first country in Latin America and the third in the world to ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990, is responsible for ensuring the rights and interests of children and adolescents who are considered a priority care group; creating alternative modalities for their protection. Placing the family as the core of society, which is regarded as the ideal medium and fundamental component for the growth and well-being of a human being. The alternative measures that the state seeks through the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion are as follows: The Institutional Acceptance, the Family Acceptance and, finally, the Institution of Adoption. Proposing to foresee the continued violation of rights of children and adolescents, pointing to the Family Welcome, as the appropriate mechanism for respecting the Right to Family Cohabitation.
