| Résumé: | A nursing record is a professional act or conduct that will collect the necessary information about an activity carried out by the nurse towards a patient about their treatment and their evolution. The objective of the work is to determine the quality of the nursing records in the Internal Medicine hospitalization area of the Teodoro Maldonado Carbo hospital, period November 2019- March 2020. Methodology: the study was descriptive, quantitative and cross- sectional, with the use of an indirect observation matrix applied to 30 nursing professionals working in the Internal Medicine area on different shifts, the results of which determined that the level of compliance with nursing records is high. As for the quality level, it could be measured thanks to the analysis of the nursing records in relation to the generalities of the form, Nursing Care and Applicability of the Care Process and Correct filling. The quality level is shown at 55%, which according to the weighting scale is a regular quality level. |
| Description: | Un registro de enfermería es un acto o conducta profesional que recogerá la información necesaria sobre una actividad que lleva a cabo el enfermero hacia un paciente sobre su tratamiento y su evolución. El objetivo del trabajo es determinar la calidad de los registros de enfermería en el área de hospitalización de Medicina Interna del hospital Teodoro Maldonado Carbo, periodo Noviembre 2019- Marzo 2020. Metodología: el estudio fue de tipo descriptivo, cuantitativo y transversal, con el uso de una matriz de observación indirecta aplicada a 30 profesionales de enfermería laborando en el área de medicina Interna en los diferentes turnos, cuyos resultados determinaron que el nivel de cumplimiento de los registros de enfermería es alto. En cuanto al nivel de calidad pudo ser medido gracias al análisis de los registros de enfermería en relación con las generalidades del formulario, Cuidado Enfermero y Aplicabilidad del Proceso de Atención y Correcto llenado. El nivel de calidad se muestra en un 55%, lo que según la escala de ponderación es un nivel de calidad regular. |
