Efecto de tres programas de nutrición en el cultivo de maíz (Zea mays L.), en tres híbridos Emblema, Advanta y Gladiador, en el cantón Montalvo, provincia Los Ríos.

Abstract

The study will evaluate the effect of three types of fertilizers in the corn (Zea mays L.) crop, in three hybrids Emblema, Advanta and Gladiator in Montalvo, Province Los Ríos. The main objective being to identify the best hybrid and fertilizer behavior in the Montalvo area. For the management and development of the research, a bifactorial trial will be established through an experimental design of randomized complete blocks (DBCA), with nine treatments and four repetitions giving a total of 36 experimental units. Each experimental unit will be made up of plots of 5.40 x 3 m will be randomly assigned to a planting distance of 0.90 between rows x 0.20 m between plants, leaving a separation between blocks of 1 m and 0.50 between plots. The variables that will be statistically analyzed are: plant height (m), ear insertion height (m), number of ear per plant, ear length (m), number of rows per ear, weight of 100 seeds (g), number of grains per row, days to flowering, days to harvest and yield.
