Abstract

This degree work seeks to determine a proposal for a post-covid-19 prevention model for the execution of infrastructure projects and their economic impact, with the purpose of defining the guidelines for the reactivation of activities in the construction sector and also the budget of supplies necessary for entry to work. In order to resume production and prevent the spread of covid-19. This was achieved by analyzing all the events and inconveniences that this pandemic entails, identifying all the necessary inputs for the reactivation of these infrastructure projects, the increase in costs and extra expenses in the construction sector and the impact of productivity, yields and efficiency in project execution. 2020, a year of many changes worldwide due to this pandemic, where Ecuador and the world are affected economically, to the point of being able to compare this setback and economic impact with that of a war. The economic crisis that gave rise to covid-19 is an unprecedented event, it is an unprecedented supply shock, the increase in aggregate demand is accompanied by a financial shock, which has a significant impact on emerging economies. Looking ahead, the main challenge will be to improve the ability of the economy to achieve positive growth or increase productivity.
