Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un Centro de Rehabilitación y Terapia Física Integral en el cantón Samborondón.

Abstract

Physical rehabilitation refers to the action program where its priority is to provide patients with the social, physical, vocational and emotional possibilities to help them live within the limits of their disabilities to the fullest. The general objective was to analyze the financial feasibility of a Comprehensive Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center with German and American technology to serve the elderly. The applied methodology had a mixed approach of exploratory and descriptive scope under the deductive method and non-experimental design, with cross section. The data collection tools were the survey and the interview. Among the most relevant results was that in the city of Guayaquil there is no specialized physical rehabilitation center with the exception of the Alcívar hospital, while in Samborondón there is no center with these characteristics. In the preparation of the business plan, the organizational values, the organization chart, profile of positions and functions were created, to later analyze the internal and external factors to apply the strategies. The investment required for the business plan was $ 536,540.8. At the time of evaluating the feasibility, it was shown that it is viable by giving an IRR of 19% and NPV of $ 139,059.7.
