Propuesta de implementación de un switch transaccional financiero para administrar los medios de pagos de las entidades bancarias conectadas a NetPay S.A.

Abstract

Transactional switches are technological platforms that are used by banking or financial entities worldwide, which have a distributed network of physical (Dataphones) or electronic (eCommerce) means of payment. These have different technologies that evolve over time, especially fixed or wireless telecommunications, since they are the fast and secure computer highway where the requirements, authorizations or cancellations of the financial transactions of the businesses and consumers who use flow. your credit / debit cards or electronic wallets. In this work, the proposal for the implementation of a financial transactional switch is made to manage the means of payment of banks connected to NetPay S.A. In the first chapter, an analysis of the main theoretical and functional fundamentals of transactional switches is carried out in general, such as: Sales Points (POS), ATM, Purchase/Business Affiliation, Electronic Wallets (eWallet), Non-Bank Correspondents (CNB), Electronic Commerce (eCommerce). The variety of telecommunications means applied in the different scenarios of each transactional switch service mentioned above are presented in the second chapter, where they are used safely and efficiently. In the third chapter the design and comprehensive proposal of how NetPay SA can interconnect the financial services of the banking entities interconnected to them is carried out, then in the fourth chapter it is shown how through a single scalable and functional platform, operations are optimized and the use of the resources available to clients and their financial transactions being more efficient, regardless of the means of payment they may use.
