Análisis del financiamiento del sector camaronero en la provincia del Guayas del 2014 al 2019.

Abstract

The present research work aims to analyze the financing of shrimp processors in the aquaculture sector in the province of Guayas in the years 2014-2019. For this reason, the development of this study is justified by the need to inquire about access to financing credits that the shrimp sector has maintained in the aforementioned period for the improvement and modernization of its production and thus obtain a competitive product compared to other countries. The research methodology is descriptive and analytical and we seek to identify the different sources of financing that the shrimp sector can access. The approach used is mixed, qualitative and quantitative, since interviews directed to entrepreneurs and managers of shrimp packing and exporting companies were used as a research instrument in order to know the results were their options of financing sources, their experience, the limitations and other aspects that they had with each of them during the years 2014 to 2019. Finally, it was found that the main sources of financing used in that period of time are the following: Capital Stock, Retained Earnings, Bank Obligations, Suppliers and Obligations with the Stock Market.
