Abstract

The Artisan M arket p roject is de veloped in the c enter o f t he City o f G uayaquil in the province of Guayas, Ecuador. The Municipal Goverment of Guayaquil is currently analyzing projects that could improve the urban quality of the city, encourage the use o f public sp aces and bene fit all social str atums o f t he c ity. In the project presented, the proposal aims to provide the user with a space with t he op timal functional, f ormal, sp atial, c onstructive and en vironmental characteristics f or in teraction and social in tegration, in or der t o enric h the urban image, as well as the economic sector of the city.
