Abstract

The project presented in this document corresponds to the architectural design of an Artisan Market located in the center of the city of Guayaquil, Guayas province. The primary purpose of this project is to generate a cultural milestone, an identity reference for Ecuadorians, showing a design with formal qualities that allow this objective to be made possible, through striking elements present on the facades; and functionally, hosting the different activities required in the architectural program for an artisan market that allows to show the different artisan products that our culture has to offer. The project is shown with a permeable design that allows the observer what happens inside from the outside view and vice versa; In this way, the use of the market is potentiated since possible users can observe what happens inside the building, while being outside and likewise, allow a close relationship with the exterior areas adjacent to the project and the squares, public spaces that are also proposed in the architectural solution of the design.
