Análisis y propuesta de un sistema de gestión de almacenes en la hacienda La Rioja, Latacunga.

Abstract

Investigative work was carried out on the analysis and proposals for improvement in warehouse management at Hacienda La Rioja. For which, in the review of the literature, the methodological proposal 5W + 2H was taken into consideration, layout, ABC classification of inventories, within this model the need of the company is considered to classify it according to product family and by consumption or cost, facilitating the processes to be developed in the area. As well as, the current situation of the company was surveyed and it was possible to identify shortcomings in the processes developed in the warehouse, which are being detrimental to the organization. Based on the analysis carried out, proposals were made to improve the procedures, such as the implementation of the 5S methodology, detailing the procedures to follow according to a schedule, as well as an ABC classification of the products to avoid economic losses when not finding the products with ease, this section presents a classification by consumption and cost. The redistribution of the products is another proposal in which the ABC classification is taken into consideration and two layout alternatives are exposed, the same that will contribute to the reduction of time for the reception and dispatch of materials. It is proposed to implement a software that helps warehouse management, where three software has been considered, one with a free version, another with a monthly cost and finally a software focused on agricultural activity with a monthly cost, to conclude with the training proposal staff, where the company will benefit by maintaining suitable human talent. Emphasizing that with the implementation of these proposals in the company you will save $ 52,675.30 per year.
