Análisis del desarrollo de las empresas del sector manufacturero y su incidencia en el PIB del Ecuador.

Abstract

The purpose of our work is to analyze the development of companies in the manufacturing sector and its impact on the Gross Domestic Product, the choice of the topic was raised with the intention of verifying and arriving at an analysis on the small and micro companies in the sector that have a positive or negative impact on GDP and how would its contribution be. The study analyzes the use of information technologies in the country, employee training and research and development in companies in Ecuador, directing our study to the most important cities of Guayaquil and Quito. The data were collected from the Central Bank of Ecuador, the Superintendency of Companies and the INEC. Through the results presented in this model we can observe a good correlation of the variables both dependent or endogenous and independent or exogenous. Furthermore, we can observe that the estimated parameters are robust in terms of marginality and also influence the economic growth of Ecuador. It is important to note that for each point of the value of investment in technology, GDP increases by almost $ 4.49816; likewise, through the level of training, economic growth would have an increase of $ 6.43522 and despite not being so high for each point in research and development, the country's GDP would increase by almost $ 0.590840. Demonstrating in this way that the investment made by companies can generate great changes and multiple developments that allow a nation to increase its economy and that this has an impact on generating jobs, expanding the market, creating many more companies that allow the development of productive matrices and generate wealth for the country and sustainability for its inhabitants.
