Abstract

The purpose of the present research implies the development of the topic: THE NEED TO REGULATE THE PRACTICE OF DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE IN THE GENERAL ORGANIC CODE OF PROCEDURES, since although it is true that in the mentioned normative body there are dispositions that regulate the announcement and the practice of evidence, specifically the exhibition of the same is not developed. This legal vacuum has opened the doors for the judges to make use of their best knowledge and understanding, forming their own criteria of what it means to exhibit, imposing in certain occasions formalities that the law has not foreseen, making it difficult for the legal professionals to act in the oral hearings.
