Abstract

This work seeks to resolve the need to automate one of the processes of the company Parmeg S.A. Through the development and implementation of a construction project budget web application, allow to determinate the final cost of the projects. The web system is oriented to the creation of budgets considering all the types of costs that the company would have for the development of a certain project. This work has a qualitative approach which allowed the analysis and interpretation of the manual process that the company is currently running and in this way be able to effectively implement the web application that responds to the needs raised. In addition, the iterative methodology allowed a constant progress in the functionalities of the developed software until the final product was achieved. The final solution has a friendly interface, it is easy to use and the company has the basic hardware equipment necessary for the implementation of the web application. The implementation of this solution will provide benefits to the company such as saving time in the preparation of construction project budgets and being able to accurately determine the cost of the project to be developed.
