Abstract

Digital sexual violence is a sad reality experienced by many people, the same ones who seek help in the Ecuadorian state that does not have the necessary regulations to be able to punish the aggressor. Hence, the lack of protection by the state made victims of a crime that, on paper, does not exist and that has not been typified in our legislation. That is why the state must create the necessary measures and plans that can offer legal support to those who are going through a difficult time due to the disclosure of eminently intimate images. Thus, the need arises for a specific legal regulation that offers the constitutional guarantees that the state must provide in the protection of citizens' rights.
