Abstract

In this study, the task is to analyze how in the Ecuadorian State there are not enough opportunities to access work in decent conditions in favor of young people. This situation implies the problem of ignorance of the fundamental right to work, which is in opposition to the premises of a dignified life and good living established by the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to analyze the impact and efficiency of the “My First Job” and “Young Employment” Programs regarding improving the conditions of access to work and the development of work activities in Ecuador in relation to the youth population that requires decent work. For this reason, from the analysis of the instruments that guarantee job opportunities for these young people through these programs, it is established as a conclusion that in practice they do not fulfill their mission. For the design of this research, the qualitative modality has been used due to the purely technical approach of the research.
