Abstract

This degree work comprises an economic-financial analysis of the project of “Design, Financing, Expansion to 4 Lanes, Rehabilitation, Operation and Maintenance of the Buena Fe – Babahoyo – Jujan Road Corridor”, with the main objective of determining the feasibility of making the concession of the project. Likewise, different topics will be covered, such as the legal aspects of Public - Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, financial evaluation concepts, the social and environmental impacts that the project will generate, among others. All the analyzes done could be carried out thanks to the information provided by the MTOP through the project specifications; with these data it was possible to calculate the original and actual cash flow and obtain the value of different tools that serve as financial indicators to make investment decisions. On the other hand, alternative scenarios were proposed to achieve different results and make the analysis more complete, in this way the probability of risk and how viable the project is will be known.
