Estudio y diseño de un data center aplicando la norma ANSI/TIA 942 para ISP AZOTEL S.A.

Abstract

This project deals with the design of a data center based on the ANSI/TIA 942 standard (Telecommunications Industry Association) for the ISP (Internet service provider) AZOTEL, which is a company that provides internet services and is growing, so it wants to expand its services and infrastructure, since nowadays telecommunications have had a very remarkable growth and the company wants to be updated at the forefront of technology and services that can offer to the public, therefore the general objective of this project is to "develop the standards and procedures", for the proposed design of the Data Center. The study to be developed is based on the design of a Data Center xTier IV at the level of the following systems: communications, electrical, physical security, air conditioning. However, following the technical parameters of the TIA-942 standard, it can be implemented in any company or carrier that provides telecommunication services. The design is based on the general recommendations of the TIA-942 standard for the TIER-IV data center, which are specified in the design of each subsystem.
