Utilidad del cuestionario RAPID 3 aplicado mediante telemedicina para el seguimiento de pacientes con artropatía inflamatoria del centro médico IRHED, año 2020-2021.

Abstract

Introduction: RAPID 3 (Routine Assessment of Patient Index Data 3) is a simple questionnaire that evaluates 10 items. Includes patient's global evaluation of the disease, perceived pain, and functional capacity. Methodology: Observational, cross-sectional, and retrospective study. Objective: Evaluate the usefulness of the RAPID3 questionnaire applied by telemedicine in patients with inflammatory arthropathy who attend the IRHED medical center, in the period 2020-2021. Results: Of the 1553 patients seen in the rheumatology service at the IRHED medical center, 121 registered RAPID3, and of these, 80 patients met the inclusion criteria. 86.3% were women and 13.8% were men. The ages ranged from 20 to 85 years, most of the patients obtained high disease activity scores (51.2%) with RAPID3 and moderate activity scores with DAS28 PCR (38.8%). Psoriatic arthritis was the most frequent diagnosis (50%). The absence of comorbidities between patients was frequent (36.3%). 88.8% of the patients did not present rheumatoid factor. 90.0% take DMARDs, 75.0% have had three medical consultations in the last year; and face-to-face consultation was the most frequent modality with 83%. Conclusion: The use of the RAPID3 questionnaire applied in patients with inflammatory arthropathy, compared to the DAS28 CRP, has a slight to moderate association when used to predict the disease activity.
