Résumé: Introduction: The revascularization is an alternative procedure based in the treatment of immature teeth with necrotic pulp. The MTA has been for many years the material of choice for the clinic's success in teeth that haven’t achieved their apical close, the Biodentine is a new bioceramic material which has shown that it induces the formation of a new mineralized tissue. Objective: the objective of this study is to determine the revasculation effectivity with two different restorative materials MTA and biodentine taking account the success in apical regeneration and disinfection. Materials and Methods: the present study is a transversal and retrospective type, a qualitative focus with not experimental descriptive design, was made through the searching of scientists articles in Pubmed, Cochrane, Wew of Science, Science direct, from 96 studies, 52 articles were selected for the analysis and data recollection. Results: The resolution of apical periodontitis and scarring was evidenced in 30 articles (58%). The use of MTA was mentioned, obtaining the healing of apical periodontitis, based on the studies that analyzed the development of the root walls, it was found that was mentioned the use of MTA 29 articles (56%) found that the strengthening and development of the walls of the root canal occurs with the use of MTA, within the results obtained according to the studies that investigated coronal sealing, the use of the MTA in 31 articles (60%) the MTA provides a tight microfiltration seal. Conclusion: It could be evidenced in the studies that the use of MTA was greater in cases of revascularization treatments in teeth with open apices, showing resolution of the apical periodontitis, scarring and development of the root walls, it has an excellent marginal adaptation in relation to Biodentine.
