Análisis y perspectivas de exportación de uvilla en almíbar hacia Holanda.

Abstract

The Physalis Peruviana or also traditionally known as uvilla in Ecuador, is a fruit that has been exploited in the wild through family farming and artisanal production; but that with the passing of the years has gradually changed, since the possibility of export has arisen and this in turn has influenced its cultivation for commercial purposes The purpose of this research work is to analyze the benefits of exporting Ecuadorian uvilla in syrup to the Netherlands, which is one of the main importing countries of this “non-traditional” fruit. In addition to strengthening bilateral international trade relations, it seeks to promote a change in the productive matrix of non-traditional exporting sectors in Ecuador, based on possible comparative advantages that the country has and that respond to existing demands in international markets. For the development of these objectives, the researcher declares the sociocritical epistemological position, since he wants to analyze the social reality context of the agricultural productions of the Uvilla and its national and international market. Therefore, the inductive method will be used with a type of descriptive case study with a qualitative approach and secondary sources; the same tools will be bibliographic analysis of documents and statistics. Finally, the following project will be purely investigative, taking advantage of the research line of the Bilingual International Trade and Finance career (2021). This academic essay analyzes the export prospects of the grapefruit in syrup to the Netherlands. To conclude, the respective analysis will be carried out in which it will be determined whether it is advisable to export the uvilla in syrup to the Netherlands.
