Propuesta de diseño del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario, alcantarillado pluvial y repotenciación de la estación de bombeo existente, en las cooperativas Andrés Quiñónez y Vencer o Morir de la Isla Trinitaria en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

This work shows the design process of a sanitary sewer network, a storm sewer network and the analysis of an existing pumping station, at the “Cooperativas Andrés Quiñones y Vencer o Morir” at the “Isla Trinitaria” in Guayaquil, that currently does not have these services. The analysis process starts from a compilation of necessary information for the design. The geotechnical and topographic studies are presented, in addition to being complemented with surveys and technical visits carried out in the sector. With the information obtained, the sanitary sewer network is designed for an area of approximately 13 hectares, which finally discharges to a nearby pumping station, which is analyzed in order to verify if it is suitable to receive the new flow of contribution from the system. For the design of a storm sewer network, information was requested from the “MI Municipalidad de Guayaquil” to be able to define the design levels based on a road development plan for the sector. The storm sewer system finally discharges into the salty estuary that surrounds the area.
