Abstract

This degree project proposes to design illustrated booklets about knots and trail signs to complement the knowledge of the Scout movement, also known by the international name of scouting. For its development, a documentary and descriptive research is carried out, and to collect data some of their tools are applied. In this case, interviews and focus group are used to be able to understand the problems that the organization has and solve it based on their preferences and the target audience. This research project helps the beneficiary to understand, step by step, the making of the knots and its uses through vector illustrations with strokes and fills on the rope design to give it a proper distinction. In addition, to avoid the saturation of elements in the booklet, certain details are omitted; consequently, this ensures that the message is transmitted clearly and concisely.
