Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de una Clínica Intercultural en Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo, Ecuador.

Abstract

The main objective of this research work is to carry out a feasibility study for the creation of an Intercultural Clinic in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo province, Ecuador. The methodology had a descriptive scope, quantitative approach under the non-experimental type method with cross-sectional data, where issues that make up the feasibility study are analyzed, such as the technical and financial study. The technique used for data collection was the survey applied to 389 people in the city. Among the results obtained, it was possible to know that it is important that the doctor who assists you speaks your language and respects your culture. Indicating that it is feasible to create an Intercultural Clinic to meet the unsatisfied demand of the Riobambeña population. In addition, an economic and financial study was carried out, where it was possible to determine the costs and operating expenses of the project. An initial investment of $ 1,837,844.38 was determined, of which the contribution with own resources amounts to $ 625,058.32 and the rest will be financed with a loan at an interest rate of 10% per year. The results obtained in the projection of the financial statements determined that there is a viability of the project, since an IRR = 17.5% and a NPV = $ 697,248.58 were obtained using a discount rate of 12%. The recovery of the investment with own resources is achieved after 8 years, with which it is concluded that it is a feasible and viable company.
