Análisis estadístico exploratorio de las exportaciones del cacao y café en el Ecuador durante la pandemia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to analyze the agricultural behavior of coffee and cocoa beans. The background of agricultural and export activities of coffee and cocoa was presented, raised the different parameters with which it was established to carry out the research. For this, we analyzed through different tables and comparative tables this behavior for the period where the country's economy was affected the years 2019 – 2021 were also analyzed to make a synthesis where the behaviors of coffee and cocoa can be compared with respect to these three years. Where we can very easily observe the significant value of each production for the country's exports. Since in the case of cocoa it is a first-class product. Its contribution is fundamental in the economy because it belongs to the group of non-oil exports that has more activity and collections. To perform out the statistical analysis, the Anova analysis was used, where it was possible to demonstrate that the exports for these products in the analyzed period did not have greater significance in both, export, and production of these. In the period where the COVID-19 pandemic caused a greater value in the variations between the years studied and the monthly productions by product were also analyzed. In such a way that the research met the objectives established within the research parameters.
