Abstract

Cushing's Syndrome disease is an endocrine disease that affects various organs of the body. The objective of this study is to evaluate the signs and symptoms in canines affected by Cushing's Syndrome at the Piccoli Pets veterinary clinic, classifying them according to age, sex, breed, blood cortisol level and output. The dependent variables will be established after several tests done on the dog to find out if it is positive for Cushing's Syndrome or negative. This research work concludes that, although this disease is rare with the presentation of signs and symptoms, they will help in the diagnosis of Cushing's Syndrome disease and although the disease is rare, if cases of this disease occur very often, although its treatment is expensive. The usefulness of sending diagnostic tests such as the blood biochemical test, the urine test and the dexamethasone test are recommended to confirm that the dog suffers from this disease and which helps society so that pets do not suffer and can with the treatment lead a dignified life.
