Evaluación del impletol como tratamiento a paciente felinos con gingivoestomatitis de diferentes etiologías que asisten a consulta en la Veterinaria Bellavista.

Abstract

The objective of this work was to determine the improvement of the lesions of the oral cavity in domestic cats, it was carried out in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador in the Bellavista veterinary clinic located in the Bellavista citadel, between the months of November 2021 to January 2022, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of Impletol in 100 feline patients who presented gingivostomatitis, performing blood tests diagnosed among these different feline pathologies; feline calicivirus, feline aids and positive feline leukemia, some tests were sent to the laboratory and others were performed in rapid tests; Once the feline pet had a positive diagnosis, three applications of the product Impletol were made in the oral cavity at an interval of 3 days, in order to observe an improvement between these applications and to recommend future professionals to use this product, The Pearson Chi Square test showed that feline patients with gingivitis had a 29% favorable treatment, while felines with ulcers had a percentage of 64% effectiveness, which means that Impletol has a favorable effect on feline patients with both lesions.
