Impacto de los factores determinantes en la ventaja competitiva de productos agrícolas. Caso estudio Ecuador 2000 – 2021.

Abstract

The main objective of this titling work is to analyze the incidence of the determining factors of the economy in the agricultural sector that produces rice, shrimp, flowers, and in Ecuador between the years 2000 and 2021, through the use of quantitative techniques. A non-experimental design is used, the type of research is descriptive and correlational, because the characterization of the production of rice, shrimp, flowers and sugar in the country is narrated, as well as the relationship between the variables is established. The theoretical framework is developed based on theories on agriculture, growth and economic development under the approach of several authors. As a main conclusion, it is determined that exports, international prices, inflation rate, interest rate, gross domestic product and business competitiveness explain differently the production of rice, shrimp, flowers and sugar depending on the agricultural behavior of the crop. It is highlighted that the independent variables have been selected after an extensive review of the literature on similar studies at the national and international level.
