Análisis de factores de producción y su relación con los índices de rentabilidad del sector agrícola ecuatoriano durante la pandemia Covid-19.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the relationship between the factors of production and the profitability indexes of the Ecuadorian agricultural sector. The study is divided into 3 main parts: the first is responsible for examining the factors of production over a period of 5 years where you can learn about the different changes that occur over the years; the second part focuses on the profitability indexes in which the behavior of these during the same period of time is observed; The third and final part is responsible for comparing both variables and distinguishing the effects they generate from each other, giving special focus to the year 2020 because it is known as a “pandemic” year. The results indicate that despite the fact that there were changes in the factors of production and the profitability indexes, they were not so significant for a large part of the sector studied, while in the analysis of the statistical model it was determined that the pandemic period did have an inherent within their relationship, that is, a relationship was established between various factors and indexes.
