| Résumé: | The purpose of this project is to analyze the feasibility of vertically integrating the EUROFISH S.A. hangar backwards. To gradually grow as an independent business unit. To achieve this, a qualitative analysis was developed through interviews with the sector, revealing the benefits of the macroeconomic environment of the city of Manta. In addition, an internal examination through an IFE matrix of the current situation of the workshop. In addition to this, a quantitative forecast with the main financial indicators to identify the solvency of the project. As a result, three improvement proposals were established to expand the workshop's portfolio of related activities: mobile hangar, engine overhaul and avionics. These resulted in the following findings: feasible project to be implemented in a period of 5 years, an IRR of 11.70% and a payback period of a year a month. |
| Description: | El propósito de este proyecto es analizar la factibilidad de integrar verticalmente hacia atrás el hangar de EUROFISH S.A. A fin de crecer gradualmente como una unidad de negocios independiente. Para lograrlo, se desarrolló un análisis cualitativo mediante entrevistas al sector, desvelando las bondades del entorno macroeconómico de la ciudad de Manta. Además, de un examen interno mediante una matriz IFE de la situación actual del taller. Aunado a esto, un pronóstico cuantitativo con los principales indicadores financieros para identificar la solvencia del proyecto. Como resultado, se establecieron tres propuestas de mejora para ampliar el portafolio de actividades conexas del taller: hangar móvil, overhaul de motores y aviónica. Estas resultaron en los siguientes hallazgos: proyecto factible a implementarse en un periodo de 5 años, un TIR de 11.70% y un periodo de recuperación de 1 año 1 mes. |
