Paqui, la que entrega todo… hasta sus propios límites.

Abstract

Paqui is a young woman who comes to the clinic seeking orientation to enter a shelter for having suffered physical and psychological abuse. After the clinical evaluation, a psychoanalytic psychotherapy of 6 months was agreed with her. In these sessions Paqui starts relating her discomfort about the bad experiences lived in her two abusive relationships where she ended up running away, there is no delimitation between Paqui's adolescence and adulthood, at the age of 15 she was already in her first relationship with a partner. After describing her family, in addition to certain relational difficulties from her childhood and identity problems such as: helping herself little, letting herself go, doubts about her capacities, wanting to feel important to someone, giving everything feeling trapped and the difficulty to establish limits, it is deduced that this case is about a hysterical neurosis, which manifests itself in this generosity and detachment to the point of giving everything to the point of then feeling guilty if she considers that she hurts the Other, making the desire of the Others prevail before her own keeping herself unsatisfied and resorting to complaining. Paqui expresses her desire to feel important for someone and in this search, she does not reflect on the effects she causes in the Other, thus repeating this form of seduction that generates enjoyment for her.
