Análisis de los beneficios de la adición de enzimas proteolíticas en pacientes caninos con patologías gastro intestinales atendidos en centro veterinario Mimo’s Pets.

Abstract

The present investigation corresponded to analyze the benefits of the addition of proteolytic enzymes in canine patients with gastrointestinal pathologies treated in "Pampers Pets", also known as proteases or peptidases, which are responsible for catalyzing the hydrolysis of the peptide bonds of other proteins. resulting in the production of peptides or free amino acids in canine patients with gastro-intestinal pathologies treated at the Mimo's Pets veterinary center. The investigation was of a mixed descriptive type in which all patients with gastroenteric symptoms who attended the veterinary clinic were chosen as a sample. Variables such as the degree of gastroenteritis and the level of improvement after treatment were considered, as well as intrinsic variables of the animal such as breed, type of feeding and age. The study was carried out in the period from October to November 2021, applying doses of 0.5 to 2ml of the Paleozín product according to the need of gastroenteritis. Although a relationship between the type of gastroenteritis and the level of improvement of the animal was not obtained by means of ANOVA analysis, various investigations prove that the application of these enzymes has different forms of evolution according to the type of gastroenteritis manifested.
