Propuesta para crear un plan de desarrollo turístico el cantón Pichincha de la provincia de Manabí.

Abstract

Tourism development in each destination must work to provide the appropriate benefits and that all the actors involved are organized together for the interest of both parties. Tourism in Ecuador is under development, especially in several destinations that are being promoted by the Government. The Pichincha canton is a destination that does not have adequate facilities to satisfy the needs or experience that tourists wish to have, however, it has tourism potential due to its attractions, gastronomy and culture, which is what many seek in a destination. In the present study, an adequate study of the tourist system of the canton and analysis of the potential demand is carried out, together with the profile of the tourist that the destination would attract. With the relevant information, is worked a tourism development plan for the canton on for the benefit of the community, which is interested in the industry, and the relevant authorities.
