Caracterización de los casos de violencia contra la mujer registrados en la Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos del cantón Naranjito en el año 2021.

Abstract

The present study focuses on describing the different cases of violence against women that have been registered in the Cantonal Board for the Protection of Rights of the Naranjito Canton in the year 2021. The research design is quantitative, cross-sectional, not experimental. The study was carried out with 125 cases of violence against women registered in the Cantonal Board, in the year 2021 and they have requested some measure of protection. A matrix was used to collect the data according to the institutional registration format. The information collected was organized into data on the victim, data on the aggressor, type of violence, and manifestations of violence and protection measures. The results indicate that in the month of May 2021 the highest level of violence has been reported, and that it occurs in women between 26 and 34 years old, an age that coincides with that of the aggressors. The protection measures granted to the victims are consistent with the regulations of the Organic Comprehensive Criminal Code in its Article 558.
