Abstract

The present investigation has as its theme "Professional profile of Social Work in situations of socio-health crisis, in a private company in the city of Guayaquil in the year 2021" exhibits a qualitative approach, with an exploratory level of investigation and the method is used. analytical. Its general objective is "Identify the professional profile of social work in situations of socio-sanitary crisis, in a private company in the city of Guayaquil, in the year 2021" To achieve the objective, the theory of Psychology of Human Development was used. For the analysis, information was collected from 50 Social Workers who participated during the socio-health crisis and who shared their experiences and challenges from the workplace. From this perspective, the results found refer to the professional profile of the social worker in socio-health crises, from the identification of roles, functions, responsibilities, key activities and competencies. All these categories contribute to structure the professional profile of the Social Worker.
