Abstract

The problem of work carried out by underage adolescents, known as "Adolescent Work" has been a problem that was born several decades ago and is still latent today. According to the International Labor Organization (2017), child labor in the street is a problem that threatens their development, in addition to violating their rights, it exposes them as high-risk activities, which affects their emotional and physical safety, encompassing their social skills, the same ones that often fail to be developed due to the influence of this context. In reading the first chapter, readers will be able to understand the "Problem Statement" from a systemic perspective, arguing the reason for an applied type of research. Finally, the objectives and research questions that marked the route and give meaning to the execution of this research are found. In the second chapter, it is structured by the theoretical framework and the conceptual reference, as an input to understand the information collected, using the following theories: social construction of reality by Berger and Luckmann; Systemic Theory of Von Bertalanffy and the theory of social learning, followed by the conceptual reference of categories such as adolescent, child labor, families, social context. The third chapter is structured by the methodology, in which the research approach, the level, the convenient and chosen method to use is exposed, and in an academically explanatory way how this methodological choice that will contribute to the construction of the results raised in chapter 4. Also the categories that were the result of the documentary, bibliographic review and analysis that allowed the design of the operationalization matrix of variables obtained from the analysis of this study, indicating the indicators on which the instruments were based. for the collection of information. The fourth chapter responds to the results according to the objectives that were raised at the beginning of the investigation, through the quantitative approach, based on this, the triangulation of the results that make up this chapter is achieved; finally, in chapter 5, the conclusions are presented precisely, based on what was found in the results of chapter 4. In addition, the respective recommendations that are developed from the results obtained within the study are presented.
