Manejo multidisciplinario en rehabilitación oral en pacientes parcialmente edéntulos. Revisión de Literatura.

Abstract

Introduction: The occlusal rehabilitation of partially edentulous adult patients is a challenge for dental specialists in daily practice. Objective: Multidisciplinary management of oral rehabilitation in partially edentulous patients. Materials and methods: The research is of a qualitative approach, descriptive and analytical design documentary, literature review. Analysis and discussion of results: Several authors assure that diagnostic methods must have a guide such as the types of classifications that exist for edentulous patients, imaging methods will help corroborate the treatment to be followed and that will be influenced by specialties and financial resources of the patient. Conclusion: it is important to carry out diagnostic and imaging methods, which will lead to the choice of treatment and the interaction of the different specialties, to improve the aesthetic appearance and consequently their psychological health, although all this will also depend on the economic factor.
