Abstract

The purpose of this titling project was to automate the process of issuing digital certificates for teacher training at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, which is currently managed by the Center for Educational Innovation and Teacher Development (CIEDD), that is, the general objective of the same was to develop a tool that is the definitive solution that is available to the teachers in charge of the training courses, whose implementation will be developed through a web application, given the nature of the proposed platform it was decided not to limit it and expand its options so that it is also accessible to the university community through the continuing education system offered by the university. For the development of the project, the PHP Laravel framework was used, which provides us with a series of solutions for the database and a template engine. The tool will have a course manager which will allow you to create the courses and add the participants who managed to complete it successfully and a plugin that is responsible for generating the digital certificates for each participating member of a specific course.
