| Resumen : | COVID-19 in Ecuador has generated a total collapse in the health system, mainly affecting front-line health personnel. The objective of this research was to evaluate the Quality of life and work stress in nursing professionals during the COVID-19 health emergency at the Hospital Básico Huaquillas in the year 2021. The methodology applied was the quantitative approach, descriptive and correlational method. The sample consisted of 36 nursing professionals to whom the CVL test and the Maslach Burnout questionnaire adapted to COVID- 19 times were applied, which was validated with a Cronbach's Alpha. It was obtained as a result that among the determinants of quality of life are the area of work and sex, on the other hand, the causal factors of work stress are sex with a significance of (p<0.05) and the area of work with a significant relationship (p<0.05). It is concluded that the LQOL found is regular, the lowest levels are in the administration of free time and personal development; the greatest source of stress is personal fulfillment and emotional fatigue, finally an intervention proposal is proposed to improve the quality of work life. |
| Descripción : | El COVID-19 en Ecuador ha generado un colapso total en el sistema sanitario, como principales afectados el personal de salud de primera línea. La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo evaluar la calidad de vida y estrés laboral en el profesional de enfermería durante la Pandemia COVID-19 en el Hospital Básico Huaquillas en el año 2021. La metodología aplicada fue el enfoque cuantitativo, método descriptivo y correlacional. La muestra fue de 36 profesionales de enfermería a quienes se aplicó el test de CVL y el cuestionario Maslach Burnout adaptado a tiempos de COVID-19, mismo que se validó con un Alfa de Cronbach. Se obtuvo como resultado que entre los factores determinantes de la calidad de vida están el área de trabajo y el sexo, por otra parte, los causales del estrés laboral se encuentran el sexo con una significancia de (p<0.05) y el área de trabajo con una relación significativa (p<0.05). Se concluye que la CVL encontrada es regular, los niveles más bajos están en la administración de tiempo libre y desarrollo personal; la mayor fuente de estrés es la realización personal y cansancio emocional, finalmente se plantea una propuesta de intervención para mejorar la calidad de vida laboral. |
