Abstract

The present research work was carried out with the purpose of publicizing the alternative that allows companies in the Plastic sector to obtain financing through the stock market; Due to the fact that the industries of this sector are in constant evolution and in the search to optimize their production, they see the need to obtain resources to carry out their activities. Organizations in this sector need financing and that is where the lack of knowledge about the instruments and benefits offered by the stock market means that the stock market is not used as the main source of financing and other financing methods are sought, such as the system banking. Due to the aforementioned, the objective of this research work is to analyze the Ecuadorian stock market as a financing alternative in the industries of the plastic sector. In the investigation, a qualitative approach was used, taking as an information instrument surveys of experts in the plastic sector of the city of Guayaquil, thanks to this it was possible to reach the conclusions presented in this research work, in addition to presenting recommendations so that the market securities can be used more frequently as a source of financing for the plastics sector.
