Abstract

The purpose of the present work of investigation consists in determining the importance of the Technology Information and Communication as an academic tool in the English learning process in students with visual disability. There are English levels that students have to fulfill as a requirement in their curriculum. The methodology applied in the present investigation has a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory approach. The technique of investigation applied is the interview to the students with visual disability and teachers who belonged to the Language Centre of this university. With the proper use of ICTs and adaptations it could highlight the accessibility to the content of the subject by easing the process of learning of the students with visual disabilities.
